App Utvikling
At Norfolk & Co., we partnered with an ambitious client, Mirai Mirage, the creators of AIDA, a visionary storytelling platform aimed at transforming how children and families engage with stories. The goal of the project was to blend technology and imagination, creating an app that's not just entertaining, but also educational and bonding for families.
By combining intuitive design, artificial intelligence, and interactive storytelling, we redefined AIDA's screen time as an opportunity for creativity, learning, and emotional connection.
AIDA envisioned a storytelling app that could bridge generational gaps, spark creativity, and foster social skills in children. The challenge was to integrate cutting-edge AI features while maintaining a simple, family-friendly user experience. Ensuring seamless voice recording, interactive guidance, and personalized storytelling added further layers of complexity to the development process, requiring both technical precision and thoughtful design.
The Challenge
The Solution
We developed AIDA, an innovative app that turns storytelling into an interactive, educational experience for the whole family. The platform combines AI-driven features with engaging guidance, giving children room to explore new worlds, learn through play, and bond with others.
One of AIDA's most beloved features is voice recording, letting parents, grandparents, and loved ones tell stories in their own voice. This creates a deeply personal, emotional connection for children. The addition of AI-driven avatars adds a dynamic element, letting kids design and interact with virtual companions that help bring their stories to life.
To further boost engagement and learning, AIDA includes interactive guides covering topics like history, science, and language, encouraging curiosity and creativity through storytelling. The app also promotes social features, letting children share their creations, connect with peers, and build storytelling communities that inspire imagination and friendship.
Unfortunately, AIDA did not advance to its second round of funding, and the concept was never brought to the public. Even so, the project remains a strong example of how thoughtful design and AI-driven innovation can come together to reimagine a category as familiar as children's storytelling.
